This is an example of a masonry support pier. Support piers can be constructed adjacent to existing piers or freestanding. Imagine Brick installs foundation piers and concrete footings as needed to provide support for existing construction. |

The homeowners contacted us through our website. Imagine Brick met with the homeowners to discuss options that would add a new look and more appeal to the home. It was not long before we knew that the homeowners had great ideas for the improvements. They knew exactly what they wanted. The existing siding was removed and Imagine Brick constructed a new masonry veneer on the garage and front entrance sections along with masonry columns. Working with a carpenter Imagine Brick completed the masonry portion of this project.

Repairs

Upon referral from a previous client the homeowner contacted us to repair the paver brick front entrance. The paver brick had an historical value and for this reason new construction was not considered. The existing damaged mortar and brick were removed and replaced in order to keep the same look and prestige that was present for many years. |

Walls

Multiple new masonry walls were constructed in order to enclose the property. Sections of the existing wall were removed and damaged portions replaced. Shaped brick column caps were reclaimed and used in the new construction. Areas that had settlement cracking due to the growth of trees that were close to the footing were reconstructed using steel lentils. With the new wall raised the growth of the trees was not an issue. Specialty colored black mortar was used for this project. |

Imagine Brick was contacted by a family member who wanted to give their parents a new mailbox for Christmas. The metal structure is a dVault brand that was shipped directly from the manufacturer. The dVault mailbox features large secured storage space. Imagine Brick constructed the new mailbox in time for any letters to reach the North Pole. |

In this instance the homeowner wanted to create an outdoor space that complemented the surroundings. Tennessee crab orchard and Tennessee flagging were used to create a patio that accentuates planting beds and a water feature. Lighting was installed at various locations to add to the design. |

Steps

The existing concrete step base had settled. Note the large space in the before pictures at the top tread and how mortar is present to show the original height. Imagine Brick removed the original steps and concrete base. A new base was constructed using steel to tie the new footing into the stoop to prevent any further settling problems. The new steps totaled five treads. The original steps totaled four and had settled enough to justify a complete tread when reconstructed. Solid brick are also used for the best look. |

This homeowner wanted to install a new grill that was accessible from the kitchen area. The stone grill was constructed using Tennessee flagstone to match the existing stone. The countertop is honed stone which is very durable and still keeps the desired look. |

The existing retaining wall was failing. Imagine Brick removed the existing wall and footing. Working directly with the homeowner we complete a design that not only complemented the landscape but also was structurally sound. Extensive grading was done to redefine the space and stop any drainage problems. The wall and footing was constructed using steel rebar and the wall filled solid with mortar. Upon completion the homeowner was pleased with the design and had a structure that would last. |

Paver Brick
|
|
Before Imagine Brick had arrived existing paver brick has been installed on a sanded base. Over time the walkway had began to separate. This is quite common when paver brick are not installed over a concrete base and set in mortar. Imagine Brick reclaimed the brick and created a walkway using a running bond pattern. In addition a retaining wall was constructed as part of this project. Upon completion the homeowners had a great entrance and walkway that not only adds curb appeal but will be very durable for years to come. |

St. Paul’s Church located in the historic section of Monroe contacted Imagine Brick to perform repairs to the masonry veneer. Areas of concern included repairing an arch located at the front entrance and various settlement cracks that had occurred. Some sections of St. Paul’s Church are close to 100 years old. Imagine Brick was pleased to help St. Paul’s Church perform their historic renovation. |

The project consisted of altering the existing masonry fireplace to create a lower stone surround that was constructed further into room. This design accommodates a wooden mantle and placement of a home entertainment theater system. |
