Paver Brick
Paver brick are versatile and can be used for walkways, steps, stoops, patios, and porches.
A paver brick entrance was constructed around existing landscaping. The area was holding water and other landscape materials would just wash away. Upon completion the homeowners had a maintenance free area that added beauty to their home.
What it was like before:
The original walkway had been improperly constructed and held water which caused the masonry to settle over time. The damaged section was removed and reconstructed to match the adjoining paver brick walkway. By replacing only the damaged section the homeowner was able to keep on budget and avoid any future issues concerning drainage.
Upon referral from a previous client the homeowner contacted us to repair the paver brick front entrance. The paver brick had an historical value and for this reason new construction was not considered. The existing damaged mortar and brick were removed and replaced in order to keep the same look and prestige that was present for many years.

The homeowner was looking to add a covered outdoor space and patio to their back yard. They selected North Carolina fitted stone as an alternative to tile. And used paver brick in a Herringbone pattern for the patio. Imagine Brick constructed the masonry portion of this project working directly with the contractor. The homeowners now have a great space to enjoy and entertain guests - with virtually no maintenance.
The homeowners wanted a space to entertain and relax with family. A concrete base was poured and then covered with Paver brick in a basket weave pattern. Once designed and constructed the homeowners had a new patio area just as the wanted.
The homeowner wanted a new look for their entrance. Paver brick were installed in a basket weave pattern over the existing sidewalk. The section at the drive was removed and replaced lower to allow a smooth transition to the concrete driveway.
The homeowner had existing step treads that were in need of repair. The original step treads looked bad but were structurally sound. Brick pavers were installed directly over the existing step treads to give a completely new look. The original side walls were removed and replaced with new in the same design. The original concrete walkway was damaged so it was removed. New concrete and brick pavers were installed in a basket weave pattern.
The areas surrounding the sunroom were originally planned for a garden to be cultivated by the homeowner's grandchildren. When the children grew out of the idea, the homeowner wished for a more permanent solution. She viewed samples and chose what she liked. These were implemented in the design which solved the dilemma and has no maintenance. The concrete drive was in place. We poured a concrete base for the new pavers and for the footings each side for the planters. And, of course, laid all the pavers.
After living in a new home for around 6 months, the owners wished for more space on an existing patio. They had done extensive landscaping just before speaking with Imagine Brick. They mapped out the size of the addition. We removed the existing border and cut brick, then tied the new construction in with the same pattern. We were able give them the space they wanted with no damage to the landscaping. And, we completed the project ahead of schedule which enabled a water irrigation system to be installed with no concerns.
The homeowners were tired of yard work around the hedges. They needed more space to walk and allow guests more access to the front entrance. The existing pavers were removed to allow space for the new design. The homeowners mapped out the new location to suit their needs.
The front patio was this pieced tile design popular in its time and deteriorating now. We repaired and improved by covering the entire area with paver brick in a basketweave pattern. Less expensive and better looking than the terra cotta original which is prone to such damage.
This paver walk and the accompanying landscaping transformed this concrete slab into an attractive area for relaxation.
